It’s official, celebrities are in love with The First Family. First Clooney, then Sarah Jessica Parker, now Beyonce! The Obamas are more famous than the Jolie-Pitts!

Beyonce Knowles (like you needed her last name) has just endorsed Barack Obama by way of writing a love letter to Mrs. Obama.

In the video posted on the official Obama campaign YouTube page, Beyonce reads out an actual handwritten ode she wrote to Michelle Obama. This video is the recorded version of the same appreciation letter that Beyonce posted online back in April.

“I wrote a letter to the first lady because I want her to know I’m incredibly grateful for what she’s doing for our country. Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman,” says Beyonce.

Beyonce lists Michelle’s “Let’s Move” campaign and her work with military families among her list of accolades.

“No matter the pressure or the stress of being under the microscope, she’s humble, loving and sincere,” says Beyonce, “She empowers me to live a healthy lifestyle and to support our veterans.”

Beyonce didn’t list Michelle Obama’s fashion prowess in her open letter, but I think it’s safe to say that Queen B probably finds Mrs. O to be a sartorial gem. I mean, with Michelle Obama around, the White House lawn is the new NY Fashion Week, I’m just saying.

Beyonce finishes the video by giving a shout-out to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, “I’m proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you to look up to.”

Boom! Beyonce said it, and it was done! Call off the election, Obama is elected for another four years because Beyonce says so!
