Beyonce Lends a Helping Hand to Hungry Americans

Beyonce is doing her part to make sure no one goes hungry in the United States. She’s partnered up with General Mills’ Hamburger Helper for new campaign called “Show Your Helping Hand.”

Through the initiative, Beyonce and General Mills will be delivering more than 3.5 million meals to local food banks.

Last month, Beyonce fans were able to show their support by bringing non-perishable foods to her “I Am” concert at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Consumers can submit codes from specially marked boxes of Hamburger Helper online through Dec. 31, 2010. Consumers can donate directly to Feeding America via showyourhelpinghand.com or text the word "SHOW" to 90999 to give a $5 gift through Jan. 1, 2010.
