Beyonce may have been voted the
richest star under 30, but she insists she's so "frugal" she hardly ever spends any of her hard earned cash.
Beyonce earned over $80 million dollars last year alone, while her hubby
Jay Z earned $82 million dollars. You would think a couple that makes over $160 million a year wouldn't be concerned about spending wisely, but Beyonce is.
She says, "Honestly, I'm very frugal. I haven't bought a car since I was 16 or any diamonds since I was 17. I have a lot of property. I've invested my money and I don't have to make any more, thank God, because I'm set.
"I'm now able really to be free and just do things that make me happy. It's an effort to stay grounded."
While it's great that she's setting a responsible example, she doesn't need to spend any of her money because Jay Z does it for the both of them.
Her engagement ring alone costs a reported $5 million dollars and she even has an imitation version valued at $5,000.
