Beyonce Getting Mom Advice From Younger Sister

Beyonce's little sister, Solange Knowles, already has a 7-year-old son and says that Auntie Beyonce is learning how to be a mom after being a great Aunt to Solange’s son for 7 years.

“My sister is a phenomenal aunt, so I’m ready to be the same in her life,” Solange told Us Weekly.

The famous sisters swap shoes and clothes, but they are now swapping mommy tricks like “how to get spit stains out of your House of Dereon wrap dress” or “Which Destiny’s Child album is best to play for the baby?”

But Solange says that Beyonce is learning things from Solange because she became a mommy first.

“I don’t need any advice [on how to be a great aunt],” reveals Solange, “Because she has been a phenomenal aunt to my [7-year-old son Julez], so she’s set the tone as an aunt. I’ve set the tone as a mom, so we’re learning from each other.”

Beyonce sure spoils Solange’s son Julez. He got to go the 2010 Grammy’s with Beyonce and Jay-Z when he was 5. Most aunts take their nieces and nephews to Toys R Us a couple times, but Beyonce took Julez to the Grammys. Swag.

So who’s the better aunt? Aunt Beyonce who spoils her nephew or soon-to-be aunt Solange? “Well, I’m sure my son would say she’s the better aunt because I’m a mom first,” says Solange, “I do realize that popcorn at 9:00 at night probably would make me better in his eyes.”

Solange says she’s ready to “have a little payback” for how well Beyonce has treated Julez all these years. It’s Solanges turn to spoil Beyonce’s kid.

Beyonce’s baby is due in February and before Beyonce announced she was pregnant in August she said she was worried people would find out too early.

“The whole time I was definitely thinking, ‘Everyone knows, everyone can see,” Beyonce said of her Live from Roseland performances in NYC this summer.

Luckily for Beyonce, she didn’t gain weight anywhere except her belly, so it was impossible to tell she was even pregnant. Jessica Simpson on the other hand, not so much.

“When you’re pregnant, it’s a little bit harder to breath, so it was hard doing all the choreography and singing at the same time,” says Beyonce of all her pregnant performances.

Beyonce hopes that after she delivers she’ll get her body back into fit shape so that her kid wonders how he ever fit into mommy’s slim body. “[I hope he or she will say] I can’t believe I was in that belly!”
