Remember when Beyonce was pregnant and she went on that talk show and when she sat down, it looked like her stomach, “deflated.” Hahah, yeah good times.
Anyways, at the time, there were mad conspiracy theories that Beyonce wasn’t actually pregnant and was using a surrogate because she didn’t want to mess up her bootylicious body. Well, Beyonce has never really spoken out about the “fake pregnancy” rumors until now and she’s a little pissed off about it.
“The lack of respect—people will just go too far sometimes,” the usually polite Beyonce revealed to GQ.
In the rest of this bonus interview from Beyonce’s recent GQ spread, Bey said her whole family took offense to the fake pregnancy rumors.
“I felt like I kind of had to protect my mother, because when people made up the silliest rumor about me not really being pregnant, she was there when I went through all those things. And my sister. They were very, very defensive. It’s not personal to me, and it comes along with the job.”
Beyonce, like every mother before her, described her lotus-flower-blooming definition of giving birth.
“When I gave birth, that was the first time I truly let go and surrendered. And it taught me how amazing that feels... giving birth made me realize the power of being a woman. I have so much more substance in my life,” shares Queen B.
In related news, Beyonce lip-synced the national anthem at the inauguration yesterday. Crazy (in love), right?
