Beyonce has just shown her support to victims of the recent Hurricane Ike by donating $100,000 to their relief fund.
The hurricane occurred in B’s native Texas, which is why she felt compelled to help. The Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund assists people from the greater Houston area who have lost their homes and their jobs since the disaster.
Beyonce is also organizing a fundraising benefit to raise more money for the victims. Atta girl B!
