From one diva to another…
Cher has handed over the keys to her $45 million Malibu estate to none other than Beyoncé.
The 13,126-square-foot Renaissance-style home is naturally fit for a queen and king.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z can now add the compound’s seven bedrooms, nine baths, gym, theatre, tennis court, and pool to their sprawling kingdom.
It even includes an adjacent guesthouse, which we’ll assume is going to be Blue Ivy’s playroom.
After Cher quietly listed the property in March (along with two other separate California properties), rumors began to sweep through the local real estate community that Beyoncé was in the market to purchase it.
Following a party over the weekend, on Saturday, May 4, it sounds like that deal went through. The new homeowners threw a celebration to mark the occasion, but Beyoncé couldn't enjoy the party because was off working in London for her Mrs. Carter tour.
“Cher is all moved out,” a neighbor of the property tells Hollyscoop. “There was a big party there at the house [on Saturday] with security and valet.”
“Loud Rihanna tunes could be heard across PCH and up the hill,” the neighbor added. “I’ve seen photogs parking along PCH trying to get pics this last week.
Cher listed the property once before in 2008, but took it off the market quickly thereafter for sentimental reasons. “There’s no view like it in all of Malibu,” she said to Vanity Fair in 2010. “It’s one of the reasons I don’t sell this place. It’s so big for me, but it’s unbelievable.”
It may have been a view too colossal for Cher, but something tells us that between Bey, Jay, and Blue it'll fit just fine.
We reached out to both Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s reps, but did not hear back in time for publication.
