Beyoncé: I'm So Rich It's Embarrassing

Beyoncé claims to be so rich, she's embarrassed by how much money she has in the bank. The singer was named in Rolling Stone magazine's list of top money-makers of 2006 after earning $16.1 million from her numerous ventures in music, movies and fashion in the last year.

While Beyoncé has never confirmed her true financial status, she admits she is mortified by her own wealth.

She says, "I never imagined I would be so blessed. I just wanted to be financially stable, and it embarrasses me, and I don't feel comfortable talking or thinking about it. I'm not a flashy girl, and I don't flaunt it."

i can not believe that a woman that is so humble would make a statement like that. I heard that she was building homes for the Katrina Victims in Houston, i was out there a month ago and the project has not begin and it's been what 3years since her and her daddy made that statement. Why would feel embarrassed because you have so much money? I don't understand? If you got your money the honest way, and didn't cheat and scheme to get it, what's to be embarrassed about!! Yes I am jealous of all that cash she has. Why is it that some people are so poor and others are so rich? I have $10 in my name now, trying to make it stretch.
