90210 Gets Three More Castmates

90210 is slowly but surely getting a well-rounded cast. Today Jessica Walter, Shanae Grimes, and Ryan Eggold all signed onto the show. Viewers will recognize Jessica from her hysterical role in Arrested Development as Lucille Bluth. She'll play the family matriarch on this show, who happens to be an alcoholic ex-actress who was linked to Warren Beatty in her prime.

The teen lead aka the new and improved Shannon Doherty is Shanae Grimes from Canada. Annie Mills was originally intended for Hilary Duff, so Shanae was the next best thing.

Rya Eggold comes from Dirt, where he played Farber Kauffman. His role is labeled only as "the teacher."

This is turning out to be quite the cast, but can it ever compare with the original?
