Not a great year for Bethenny Frankel. On Monday morning, the former 'Real Housewives of New York' star revealed that she recently suffered a miscarriage. And on 'Watch What Happens Live,' Frankel talked to host Andy Cohen about her additional medical problems.
“As a result of that experience [miscarriage], I was on an antibiotic Doxycycline," she told host Andy Cohen. "I took it at night without any water, went to bed and it burned a hole in my esophagus."
That probably hurt.
“I have a hole in my heart and my esophagus,” the 'Bethenny Ever After' star continued. “But it's okay-I'm feeling good. I wouldn't be drinking a Skinnygirl Margarita if I weren't feeling good.”
Smooth way to transition in that product placement!
In her interview with the 'Today' show only hours earlier, Frankel told host Savannah Guthrie:
“We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks, I miscarried.”
"There are so many emotional things that come with it that it's hard to really put into a small conversation," said Frankel. "You go through a roller coaster of emotions. About your age, about being a woman, about can you have another baby, are you a failure to your partner, about what if my husband married someone younger -- you go through a million different things."
The reality star continued: "It's not really my choice. It's not my option. The window is closing. So it's something I'm dealing with."
