Benji Madden was born on March 11, 1979 in Waldorf, Maryland. His father left him and the family when he was 16. Benji and twin brother Joel teamed up to form the punk band Good Charlotte in 1996. The group's big break came in 2002 with the hit single "Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous."
Good Charlotte has enjoyed great success over the years, putting out their fourth album Good Morning Revival in March 2007. In recent months, Benji has been romantically linked to Paris Hilton.
