Kimberly Stewart, daughter of legendary rocker Rod Stewart, has just given birth to a baby girl. This is Stewart’s first child and in world-most-random-hook-up-ever, Benicio Del Toro is the father.

While they two aren’t a couple, he’s the baby daddy for sure. Back in April, Benicio’s rep confirmed the rumors, “Benicio is the father and very supportive. Although [he and Kimberly] are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”

Benicio was not at the hospital when they baby arrived. Kim was joined by her dad and his wife Penny Lancaster and Kim’s mother and Rob’s first wife, Alana Collins. Imagine is Benicio was there? What a confusing group of people. I imagine Rod Stewart introducing everyone…“Benicio, this is my ex-wife but technically she is now your daughters grandma and that...
Love is a beautiful thing. But let's be real. Some couples seem made for each other, and some leave us scratching our heads. We love Whoopi Goldberg and we love Ted Danson. But together, they just confused the hell out of us.

But hey, sometimes weird combinations can work. Here are a few odd celebrity couples that have somehow found their way into each other's arms.

Scarlett Johansson & Sean Penn: Not many men over fifty that look like they've been through hell and back can get a woman in her twenties who looks like ScarJo. But between him trying to save the world and his devil-may-care attitude, Scarlett saw something in Sean Penn. They may be in love, but if they weren't in Hollywood, people would just think she's his nurse!

In the most bizarre news of the week, Life & Style is reporting that Kimberly Stewart, daughter of rock star Rod Stewart, is pregnant with Benicio Del Toro’s child.

In case you’re in disbelief, Benicio’s rep confirmed, “Kimberly is pregnant. Benicio is the father and is very supportive.”

I’m not sure where these two could've possible met to have engaged in coitus. Benicio is an Academy Award winning, 44 year-old actor, and Kimberly, as far as I know, hasn’t left the house since 2006, when she briefly served as Paris Hilton's Nicole Richie replacement.

“Although they are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby,” Benicio’s rep continues.

My best guess is that they were walking down the street in opposite directions, and, like fish, their genitals accidentally grazed when they passed each other.

As Hollyscoop previously reported, The Three Stooges is being made into a feature film. But now we’ve gotten word on two actors attached to the film, and it may surprise you! Jim Carrey and Sean Penn are both signed on to star in the film. If they agree, that bumps the film up from about a C to an automatic A!

Sean Penn has reportedly signed onto play Larry, while Jim Carrey is negotiations to play Curly. Carrey is preparing to gain 40 pounds so he can play the role. And you’ll never guess who’s being courted for Moe. Benicio Del Toro! Quite a threesome! Sean Penn and Benicio wouldn’t be our first picks to do physical comedy, but the Farrelly brothers do know a thing or two about comedy. We did also hear a rumor that Johnny Depp was in talks for the role of Moe as well.

The Farrelly brothers will direct, and MGM is attached as well. The brothers feel that now is the best time for this movie to come out.

Peter Farrelly says, “When the economy started turning, we felt like the world could use a Stooges slapfest. Bobby and I haven’t done a real physical comedy in a while, and it’s the most exciting thing we could think of now, to have people go to the movie, see some great slapstick fun family humor.”

The movie is expected to start production in the fall, with a 2010 release.

Benicio Del Toro and Catherine Keener are allegedly the newest couple on the block. The two were spotted having dinner at Green Door last week, and looked like they were flirty.

A fellow patron tells Ok! magazine, "He whispered into her ear, and she listened with rapt attention. He brushed his hand on her back. They had nice chemistry."

Catherine divorced her husband of 17 years Dermot Mulroney in 2007, so it's been enough time to have her move on. Benicio is quite the playboy though!

Actor Benicio Del Toro was recently spotted at a meeting for drug addicts at a gay men's health centre in New York City. Before your mind goes wild with gay rumors, he was there supporting a friend he met while researching for his movie 'Things We Lost in the Fire.'

A source told the New York Post: "Benicio stood up and said, 'Hi, my name is Benicio. I am not an addict, and I am not gay. I am here to support my friend."

"He is a sponsor to a guy he met doing research for his druggie role in Things We Lost in the Fire and they kept in touch.

"Benicio is now his sponsor. But it's weird because usually sponsors are people who have been through the 12 steps and can coach you through them, not some guy who's just famous. But I guess it's sweet."

I think it’s awesome that he not only stayed friends with the guy but also goes to meetings with him. Aww what a nice guy!

Halle Berry, David Duchovny, Alison Lohman and Benicio Del Toro star in the new DreamWorks movie 'Things We Lost in the Fire'.

The film is about a recent widow who invites her husband's troubled best friend to live with her and her two children. As he gradually turns his life around, he helps the family cope and confront with their loss.

This film looks intense, can wait till it hits theaters on October 19, 2007. Check out the trailer here…
