The man-on-man love-fest continues in the testosterone-fueled run.
It has been announced that longtime collaborators and best friends, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, will team up in yet another film together. The bro-couple will share the screen on a long rumored pet project currently dubbed “Untitled Whitney Bulger Film.”
X17 reports that, from the looks of things, the project is officially in forward motion. The film promises to tell the story of the gangster Whitey Bulger during his criminal reign in – go figure – Boston.
Matt is on slate to star as the Bulger and Ben is scheduled to direct.
The New Englander’s bromantic involvement goes wayyyy back. They shared the screen and writing credits together on the Oscar-winning Good Will Hunting back in 1997.
Who could ever forget their adorable acceptance speech when they ran to the stage with giddy schoolgirl delight and hugged it out in front of the audience and their mothers?
And ever since then – from the red carpet to candlelight dinners - they can’t help but have their hands all over each other in public places. Honestly, other than the fact that these guys aren’t showering together (which we cannot confirm or deny) they couldn’t be closer.
It’s a match made in hetero heaven.
And just because we’re juiced up on all the man-friend love, here are five other relationships making bold strides in the bromantic spectrum.
5. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire
4. Vinny and Pauly D. from “Jersey Shore”
3. Seth Rogen and James Franco
2. Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson
1. Brad Pitt and George Clooney
