Actor Ben Affleck is such a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan that he's going to check out his wife Jennifer Garner's play in advance so it doesn’t interfere with the game.
Garner's new play officially opens on November 1, 2007, which is also when the Red Sox's best-of-seven series with the Colorado Rockies is expected to reach fever pitch.
Affleck says, "Fortunately for me, I've already been to see Jennifer on Broadway, so there's not really a conflict. I'm not required to go see that again.
"She's a very big Red Sox fan so she'll be I'm sure running back during the intermission checking the score."
Affleck also recently ditched the premiere of his movie 'Gone Baby Gone' to catch the Red Sox game on TV.
