Battlestar Galactica

Episode 4x10

Well, all was revealed…. kind of.

I mean they have 10+ episodes next year to finish it.

And now everyone knows about the 4 Cylons that have been in hiding all season.

Well technically there are 5 in hiding… but the 5th has yet to be revealed.

Let the speculations resume.

Is it Dualla?
Is it Doc Cottle?
Gaeta?
Baltar?
Who knows?

Well… D'Anna knows, the question is how easily will she give up that information?

And considering the Earth that she bargained her way of getting to isn't the Earth that she, or anyone else for that matter, thought it was going to be, does she have any reason to withhold the final name?

Or has she seen him or her yet at all?

Do the Cylons have any leverage against the humans anymore?

One thing we do know is that the Dean Stockwell faction of the Cylons are still out there in the vast void of space.

And maybe they can track the Base Ship that was used to get to Earth.
Maybe they have a spy on the ship.
Or maybe all the Cylons decide to reunite in peace.
Would they enslave humanity AGAIN?

This post-apocalyptic Earth that is revealed at the end is so riveting that I wonder, is the entire second half of the fourth season, set to air next year, going to ONLY be set on Earth?

I mean… there's nowhere else to go.
Earth is the end of the line.
It is the stated mission in the opening credits.
Well our heroes and anti-heroes have to find out what happened, and may be forced to rebuild or forced off Earth for reasons unknown.

It will definitely be a long painful wait.
F'N MTV Premieres....
We've all been complaining about the lack of music videos on the channel once known for its music, hence the name Music TV, but these days MTV loves to showcase celebreality shows instead. So Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy decided to give 'em what they want and also give us what we want....a music video show hosted by a celebrity!! And each Friday musicians play their favorite videos and perform. The lively lineup for this debut episode includes a performance from Panic at the Disco! and videos from Flo Rida, the Pussycat Dolls, Snoop Dogg and the Ting Tings.

Battlestar Galactica @ 10pm
It's the mid-season finale, and you all know what that means: shocking revelations and even more cliff-hangers! Authorities say that the first step in solving a problem is admitting that there is one. But what would you do if you're a Cylon hiding among Cylon-hating humans? The Adama men get all punchy as our four reclusive skin-jobs come clean about their toaster roots.

Real World: Hollywood @ 10pm
Catch up on Joey's latest troubles and drama that lead him to leave the show. Brianna will struggle with motivating herself to reach her dreams but gets break and gets a chance to perform with The Calling. Soon we will have a new roommate in the house--it seems like shows love to do this trick of adding new flavor mid-season and it will bring the new flav with Will. Oh, and in the meantime Sarah will act like the mother of the house, as usual!!

Meerkat Manor @ 3pm
Admit it...you are hooked on the furries and their real world drama. If you are a part of the "Battlestar Galactica" cult, then you will like this story. The stars of the hit TV show were out last night for the L.A. Times The Envelope's Emmy Screening Series Presentation at the Cinerama Dome.

Fans lined up to get a glimpse of Katee Sackhoff, Mary McDonnell and Tricia Helfer, Ronald D. Moore, Keith Garsee, Scott Ian among others who came out for the Q & A. Being an online viewer, one question we had in mind. Why isn’t the "Sine Qua Non" episode available to view?

We hear the reason for this tragedy is that the Network doesn’t want to lose it's TV audience to the Internet. Expect a week delay broadcast online from its broadcast on TV.

This way, the TV viewers would tune in and not lose their connection. Now if you don’t have any patience like myself to lose a week, it's time to get cable.

In the meantime, check out the pictures of you’re favorite "Battlestar Galactica" star below.
Episode 4x9

When you boil it down, is Laura Roslin as selfish as Gaius Baltar? Well another piece of that puzzle seems to fall in to place this week. It does seem that every week, as Roslin grows weaker with the cancer, she acts more and more off. Many close to her can sense it. Baltar can sense it. But she is the President.

So their mission was to unbox D'Anna and destroy the Resurrection Hub. D'Anna, of course, knows who the final five are, and the Resurrection Hub is what makes Cylons continue to download and reproduce themselves. You take that factor of the equation out, and Cylons are as mortal as Humans.

The attack on the Resurrection Hub wasn't without its casualties. Among the injured Baltar who seemingly on the verge of death confessed to Roslin that he gave the security codes to the Cylons not knowing who they were or what they were going to do. But he let go of that guilt, and encouraged Roslin to do the same with her own. Umm... yeah but Baltar still was responsible for the virtual extinction of the ENTIRE human population. Maybe philosophically that's involuntary manslaughter, but.... yeah a lot of people died dude.

And then the Base Ship returns, with Adam there waiting for his love to return.

Happy ending.... OR IS IT!?!?!?!?
Battlestar Galactica @ 10pm
For being not much more than a backlit bathtub, you have to admit that the Cylon resurrection thingy is a pretty effective prop. But who needs special effects when there's a naked ex-warrior princess soaking in that creepy bubble bath? Lucy Lawless reprises her role as D'Anna, the Cylon troublemaker that Brother Cavil had "boxed" for being too inquisitive about the Final Five.

Meerkat Manor: The Next Generation @ 9pm
The fourth season begins with some big changes on the Kalahari. Flower's death has left a power vacuum — with two sisters, Rocket Dog and Maybelline, vying for control of the once-mighty Whiskers clan. Maybelline sees another opportunity, however, and strikes off to become matriarch of the Aztecs, setting the stage for a new rivalry. With old foes the Commandoes waiting in the wings, and the sisters struggling to keep control over their respective clans, this season is shaping up to be the most chaotic yet. The series itself also has a change, as Stockard Channing takes over as narrator. This Weekend:

America's Best Dance Crew @ 2pm Saturday
Summer is here and dance session has begun! This hit show did so well recently for season 1, that they are back to keep us entertained for the summer. Summer shows have surprisingly gotten a large amount of viewership and the fact that other shows are off until the fall, it really gives them a chance to shine and grab our attention--at least till our fave shows come back!

Living Lohan @ 10:30pm Sunday
It's too bad big sis Lindsay won't be making many appearances on the lively reality show, she would definitely bring some action some juicy lesbian gossip for us to talk about. In the meantime, Mama Lohan will keep us glued as she mentors lil sissy Ali to become what Lindsay used to be before she hit rehab a few times! And with all the drama still going on between Papa Lohan and Mama Lohan, perhaps we will catch a glimpse of these two messes as they try not to wreck their kids' up anymore:)

Denise Richards: It's Complicated @ 10pm Sunday
Another celebreality star with much juicy gossip running the mill is Denise Richard's with Charlie Sheen's recent nuptials with Brooke Mueller. Sheen stated his first marriage was for show and his second was a con--ouch! I guess he doesn't think too highly of either of his exes. But I am willing to bet, both have their reasons for having divorced. Let's hope his latest will last for a lifetime. And let's find a "normal" man for Denise to hook up with! Yeah right--what's normal enough for Denise??
Episode 4x8

Well it's been 2 weeks since we last saw this crazy chaos continue to unfold with regards to humans and Cylons alike.

Now with the President of the colonies gone, on a base ship somewhere in-between the fleet and Earth, the Quorum seeks to anoint a new leader. Of course, since Vice President Tom Zarek is quite unpopular, especially with the military, Lee Adama gets chosen and elected President. This just gets more and more interesting.

Admiral Adama has a moment of clarity, with the assistance of Romo Lampkin, that he has lost perspective. That finding Laura Roslin out in the endless vast void of space is more important to him than the betterment of the fleet as a whole.

So with Adama resigning as Commander of the Fleet for the time being, Tigh takes the helm. A Cylon in charge of the colonial fleet.

And next week it looks like we'll find out who the last of the illustrious "Final Five" is.

…. edge of seat …
Episode 4x6

Well what did we discover this week? Roslin is slowly being taken in by Baltar's words and is not ready to die. Starbuck is the Harbinger of Death. The Opera House scene gets spoken of again. And is there actually going to be a truce between the Colonials and some of the Cylons? The Final 5 know the way to earth? Hmmm…

With a mutiny on the Demetrius averted, Starbuck and a few volunteers including Anders, decide to board Leoben's ship in order to find his Cylon Base Ship. For Starbuck, though, it's more of a spiritual thing. She NEEDS to find Earth. She has to.

For Anders it's this constant search for who he exactly is now. His feelings for Kara are still evident. But with him being one of the new Cylons (in hiding), it seems that he's trying to avoid the reality of who he is. Sooner or later that will definitely catch up with him. The real question is how will Kara take it when she finds out.

Roslin is dealing with her sickness, mortality, and a small crisis of faith while giving more responsibility to Tory. This will play out very interesting.

At the end the crew of the Demetrius meet up with the Cylon Base Ship, which means next week everyone will meet up with Galactica. Crap is going to hit the fan and the colonials will divide even further. Although wouldn't it be interesting if through all this turmoil, it's Baltar that actually unites the fleet? The pieces are being placed that way it seems. Hmm.. just a theory.
Episode 4X5  In the world of BSG, there are divisions everywhere.

On the Demetrius, there are divisions between Starbuck and essentially the rest of the crew.  While Starbuck is seemingly flying blindly into the night trying to find a sign of where Earth is, the rest of the crew gets more and more restless.  Helo stands by her until the end after one of their crew dies on a captured Cylon ship manned by an injured Leoben.  Leoben tells Anders, whom he doesn't know is a cylon himself, that there are divisions amongst the Cylons.  A civil war has erupted.  Leoben asks for an alliance, the crew is reticent to comply.  Humans aligning with the Cylons??  They haven't done that since… oh wait Sharon is a Cylon so…. Hmmm.  This issue will definitely divide the people for sure.

Tyrol is really the one of the New Cylons that has not taken this life changing moment clarity well.  He goes off the deep end mentally, his wife gets killed (by Tory… of course he doesn't know that)… and he's on the verge of suicide.  But something stops him.  The memories.  Real or not, they comfort him.  And the most unlikely person to comfort him at the end was Baltar. 'Til next week.

Rumor on the block is that the hit TV show "Battlestar Galactica" may move to a big shot network like NBC.

The show is currently on the Sci-Fi channel and if the move does happen chances are that the show's final season will air in 2009. NBC might even want to start entire show from the beginning.

Nothing is official and no decisions have been made but chances are we might be seeing a lot of existing TV shows on bigger networks like NBC.

Hey all you nuggets! The Sci-Fi channel has been airing Battlestar Galactica: Razor "Flashbacks" for the past couple weeks on Fridays during Flash Gordon. These are 2-3 minute shots, all new material and are supposed to set us up for the premiere of Battlestar Galactica: Razor on November 24th.

Unlike the "Resistance" webisodes last summer, which only aired on scifi.com, these flashbacks deal with a young William "Husker" Adama, a viper pilot during the First Cylon War.

So all you BSG geeks, if you haven't checked it out, go to scifi.com now.

What are you frakin' waiting for?
