Sometimes “The View” is a show where a gaggle of women sit around a table and talk about taxes and the Kardashians, other times, it turns into an episode of The Howard Stern show.
On today’s episode of The View, things got dirrttyy when Barbara Walters got into the truly “hot” topics during the “hot topics” segment of the show.
First, Whoopi wanted to discuss the new book “50 Shades of Grey,” a steamy novel that is basically just a collection of intensely described S&M sex scenes. Then, Barbara is like, “since we are on the topic of sex” (I’m paraphrasing here) she starts using hand gestures to describe the “rough sex” from the first episode of the new HBO series, "Girls."
Barbara, on a roll, turns to Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the shows lone conservative, and goes “Do you like it rough?”
Now that the entire audience has an image of Elisabeth Hasselbeck having rough sex, which is probably just her wearing lace underwear and not the chastity belt she probably makes her husband deal with, Whoopi goes, “That visual you just gave me has made my eyes bleed.”
Us too, Whoopi. Us too.
Then Elisabeth nervously responds, “We are on a Pregnancy Prevention Program.”
Whatever that means? Then Barbara, who is apparently the new poster child for S&M asks again, “But do you like it when he’s rough?”
So that happened. I have to go pour Listerine into my ears and eyes now, and hopefully un-experience that entire thing.
