Obama fever is at it's all time in Hollywood. While some celebs migrated over to D.C. for the inauguration of Barack Obama, the rest of them stayed here in La La land to attend the Svedka Vodka Inauguration Soiree in Hollywood at Guy's Nightclub.
Hollyscoop was on the red carpet for big party where we caught up with some of your favorite stars to get their reactions on the Inauguration. Here's what they had to say:
“I was just at home, luckily I had the day off so I went downstairs in my PJs and watched it.”
“Actually [I watched it] at my little girl's school! They had all the kids do this thing and it was really sweet and moving, they have such opinionated views at that young age!”
“I spent the whole morning in tears, it was really touching. It’s so powerful. I was in my living room, desperately wishing I was in Washington but I was all alone, drinking coffee and just thinking how historic this moment is.”
“I was watching it in my pajamas! I think I contemplated a lot before today how I would feel, it feels a little surreal, so I think it will take a few weeks for it to sink in.
"I stayed home and watched the pre stuff but then I listened to the rest on NPR because I was at work. To listen to it on NPR was great because it demanded that you listen to everything he said. You couldn't get lost in the crowd or his great smile, or be awestruck by him, his speech was very moving- I think it’s an extraordinary time, it’s very exciting.”
“You know, I had a big audition this morning for a Sylvester Stallone movie so I was doing that - I recorded like all seven hours of it though and watched it later.”
“Well I've been Obama mania for a while now, so I was just in my house watching and enjoying it. I love how honest he was, he didn't sugarcoat anything, he knows everyone's going to have to work really hard and work together.”
