In case you were wondering, the place to be right now is Washington D.C. Barack Obama will be sworn in as president tomorrow, and the stars are already there to take in all of the action. Last night’s Declare Yourself event was a star-studded party, attended by Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Jamie Foxx, and many more.

The event was called A New Birth of Citizenship, taking place at the Renaissance Hotel, which was celebrating the young vote, which was so important in this election. Jessica Alba hosted the event, and Maroon 5 and John Legend performed. Samantha Ronson took to the turn tables later on, which Lindsay right by her side.

But that wasn’t the only party of the evening. A-listers also gathered for the free concert at the national mall. Among the many performers there were Bruce Springsteen, U2, Beyonce, Usher, Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, John Mellencamp, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Josh Groban, John Legend and James Taylor. Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III and Queen Latifah all read inspirational passages as well.

Today’s big event that you won’t want to miss is Oprah’s special episode live from the Kennedy Center Opera House. Can you imagine getting tickets to that show? She’ll also be doing a show from the same place the day after inauguration day, this Wednesday.

Two other notable events occur tonight as well. The "Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future" will be held Monday night at the Verizon Center and air on the Disney Channel. Performing will be Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and Bow Wow. Michelle Obama and Jill Biden will host with their families. The "America Feels Kinda Cool Again Inaugural Gala" will feature the Beastie Boys, Sheryl Crow and Citizen Cope on Monday at the 9:30 club. What a great name!

There’s a lot more where that came from. Keep checking back for more inaugural-inspired events in the next couple of days!
