Obama Ad Dominates Airwaves

October 30, 2008

Airing on seven network and cable stations, Barack Obama's 30 minute "American Stories, American Solutions" ad campaign was a huge hit last night!

"The half-hour Obama ad was a classic closing commercial, with a positive tone belied the hand-to-hand combat going on in key states, both on the air and on the ground," said the LA Times.

There were no mentions of John McCain, Sarah Palin, or President Bush in the ad. Instead, he appeared to be a confident looking President who understood the fears of the middle class voters. "In six days, we can choose an economy that rewards work and creates new jobs and fuels our prosperity, starting with the middle class," he said at the end of the program.

Check out the commercial below and let us know your thoughts on it!

Right...and if I asked you to define the "change" that you are speaking of...exactly what would that be? That we are all going to have to SHARE our hard earned money with the half of the population that is living off of the government or perhaps that a change in the fact that the US President (if Obama wins) will no longer stand for all that this country was built on..HARD WORK AND THE AMERICAN DREAM! The makers of this country did not allow people to lay around all day and live off of their hard earned money..that is a very different kind of american dream. How about..did you know that YOUR BELOVED OBAMA in the time that he was Senator stood for NOTHING!! When asked to vote for big issues instead of hitting the YES button or the NO button, he just hit the PRESENT button 129 times or 60% of the time. Even as Senator he was afraid to stand up for what he believed in. Whatever, choose who you want but I do not want to hear ONE Obama supporter complaining when their monthly check is smaller than it used to be or when this country falls apart at the seams.

OBAMA`08!..Has it ever occured to you people that are McCain supporters that people could be voting for OBAMA because he shares the same beliefs as some of us?..Not because he's black and not because it "The CooL thing" to do..but because we want a change and I'm talking a POSiTiVE change..I dont care who's voting for who as long as they're voting for that person for the right reasons..You go ahead and vote for you beloved McCain..as for me..OBAMA aLL THE WAY, BABY!!..WOOHOO!!

lisarda1961 - I think that I am in love with you! JK! No seriously, I feel like that only person my age who thinks that Obama would be the worst thing for this country. America's youth feels like it is the cool thing to do to vote for him. Just watch some of the videos of him with Rev Wright who he so easily let go of as a friend and advisor just because it was bad for his image. Just a year ago he was the most active member of that church!! He will do anything to get elected. I am scared for this country if he wins!

This ad that Obama paid for is ridiculous! What a horrible waste of money! This just goes to show how frivolous he is. The commercial has an arrogant feel to it. He sits there in his fancy office looking as if he's already the "President" in the white house. That money could have been spent on something much more useful. He says a whole lot of nothing! He promises to cut taxes, for anyone making under $200,00 or less. Hmmm, just a few weeks ago the income cap was $250,000. He is slowly lowering the income bracket every week that he opens his mouth! What's it going to be next week? $150,000? He is just flapping his lips and saying what he thinks the "Average Joe" (even the plumber) wants to hear. He's a joke! God help us if he wins. His democratic camp is spending so much time trying to beat Sarah Palin down, spending hours upon hours speaking about her clothes?? C'mon! Give us some meat here Obama. Blah blah blah!..Don't just talk the talk..you have to walk the walk!!! Like McCain is does!

Funny - I was too busy getting ready for the Phillies to win the World Series. I know Obama didn't have many viewers in the Philadelphia area last night! Aww...too bad! GO PHILS!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, that commercial was so frivolous of the democratic campaign. Do you even realize how much that cost to be on every channel across America in that time slot! Meanwhile, everyone criticizes Sarah Palin for borrowing an expensive Armani suit or two for her appearances. Let's not even get into the democratic national convention set up! That was so expensive too!
