No matter how the debate goes, one thing’s for sure… Barack Obama won’t be sleeping in the doghouse tonight!
Today marks in the 20th wedding anniversary for the Obamas. To mark the event, the President is sharing the good news and his happiness with the world.
President Obama tweeted a message at his wife Michelle for all of his 20 million plus followers to see. In the heartfelt address, he called the First Lady the love of his life and his “best friend.”
Michelle was obviously flattered by the mention, tweeting back at her man...
Twenty years ago today, I married the love of my life and my best friend. Happy anniversary, Michelle. -bo— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) October 3, 2012
Barack’s account has since retweeted Michelle's message.
To hammer the presidential cuteness home, Obama’s twitter page later published a photo from their wedding day with the caption “twenty years together.”
Happy 20th anniversary, Barack. Thank you for being an incredible partner, friend, and father every day. I love you! –mo— Michelle Obama (@MichelleObama) October 3, 2012
Uh... 20 years? Is it just me, or have these two not aged more than a couple weeks… Well, aside from a few shades of grey on Barack’s dome, likely the result of his four years of stress.
The first presidential debate broadcasts live on Wednesday from 9:00-10:30 p.m. EST on all major networks and cables news channels.
