Lupe Fiasco Thinks President Obama is a Terrorist

Looks like Lupe Fiasco and my dad have something in common. In an interview, Fiasco referred to Obama and his administration as terrorists. And while most of Fox News' congregation agrees, their argument is solely based on Obama "havin' a funny soundin' last name", and Lupe has a deeper argument that's actually based in history and reason. But it's still kinda harsh.

In an interview with What's Trending host Shira Lazar, rapper Lupe Fiasco complained about the foreign politics of the United States, saying that it "inspires people to become terrorists."

Lupe, you know what they did to John Lennon, right?

“In my fight against terrorism, to me, the biggest terrorist is Obama, and the United States of America,” Lupe said. "The root cause of terrorism is the stuff that the U.S. government allows to happen, and the foreign policies that we have in place in different countries that inspire people to become terrorists. And it’s easy for us because it’s just some oil."

To be fair, the U.S. has been imperializing other countries for a while now. Our "foreign policy" is basically taking over and pissing on everything. So I don't think Obama can carry all the blame. And Fiasco recognizes that:

"If I’m going to say I stand behind this person and write on a piece of paper that says, ‘Yeah I stand for this person,’ then I have to take responsibility for everything he does cause that’s just who I am as a human being. So politicians aren’t going to do that because I don’t want you to bomb some village in the middle of nowhere.”
