If Obama can’t get a job in this town, nobody can.
‘Entourage’ star Jerry Ferrara is shooting down a rumor started by his former costar, Adrian Grenier. Adrian posted a photo of himself with President Obama on Facebook, writing: “I promised to make the Entourage movie if [Obama] would do a cameo. He agreed. Seriously.”
Hollyscoop talked to Jerry at the ‘Think Like a Man’ Press Junket, where he told us the rumor is FALSE.
“It was something that Adrian [said],” Jerry told Hollyscoop. “He got the chance to meet President Obama and he, I’m guessing, made a joke, saying something to Obama, ‘hey, I’m not doing the movie if you’re not!’ Obviously, the President of the United States is not going to take time out of his schedule to come do the 'Entourage' movie!”
Well. Thanks for bursting our bubbles, Jerry. But yeah, I guess it makes sense that Obama can’t be a movie star since he's busy, you know, running the country and all.
But…just in case…you’re sure, Jerry?
“As much as it would be one of the high points of MY life to actually say that that happened, I just don’t…come on!”
Jerry does confirm that Obama is a huge fan of the show, telling Hollyscoop:
“Kevin Connolly also got the chance to meet him one day, and he said…‘oh, you might have got us picked up for the final season!’ and Obama said, ‘I woulda stepped in sooner if I knew!’ So that was pretty cool!! It would be a high bench mark for my life...but I just don’t see it happening, to be honest.”
