The Obama re-election campaign clearly has Hollywood on it’s side. I don’t know what celebs Mitt Romney has up his sleeve but after Obama’s Clooney fundraiser, Sarah Jessica Parker’s dinner, his LGBT fundraiser and now this Gwen Stefani thing, the opposition better do a dinner at Brad and Angie’s mansion in France. I’m just saying.
Michelle Obama and Gwen Stefani are teaming up for a “Family Day” Obama re-election fundraiser at Gwen’s Beverly Hills, CA home. The event will take place on August 12 and a family of four can join the celeb and the first lady for a child-friendly day of fun and dinner for $1,000 per family. So if you’re a family larger than four persons, decide which kids you like the most.
If you can splash out $5,000 per family, you can snag a more intimate meet-and-greet with Michelle and Gwen.
According to The Wrap, all proceeds will go to the Obama Victory Fund.
This is the perfect cause for Gwen, who has two kids with hubby Gavin Rossdale: Kingston and Zuma. Gwen has recently dedicated her life to philanthropy. She donated $1 million to aid children affected by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. She’s also auctioned off items from her fashionable wardrobe to benefit different children’s causes.
