We couldn’t wait to turn on The View this morning to see how
Elisabeth Hasselbeck was going to react on air to
Barack Obama being elected president last night.
Barbara asked Elisabeth to respond to the news, and she surprised us all by delivering a compassionate and eloquent speech of her own.
We can only hope that fellow
John McCain supporters, especially those booing Barack’s name in Phoenix last night, will follow Elisabeth’s lead in supporting our new president. Because in the words of Elisabeth, “that is, as an American, I believe we should do.”
