It's official, the world agrees that Kanye West is a big jackass, even the President of the United States.

During an off-the-record chat with a CNBC reporter Barack Obama was asked what he thought about Kanye ruining Taylor Swift special moment at the MTV VMA's.

He jokingly said that Kanye acted like a "jackass" and the reporter quickly posted the comment on his Twitter page.

Senator Edward Kennedy passed away late Tuesday evening after a long battle with brain cancer. He was 77.

Kennedy, a towering figure in the Democratic Party, was one of the most influential and longest-serving senators in U.S. history.

"Edward M. Kennedy, the husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle we loved so deeply, died late Tuesday night at home in Hyannis Port (Massachusetts)," the Kennedy family said in a statement early on Wednesday.

Rev. Al Sharpton gave a powerful speech at Michael Jackson's memorial at the Staples Center in which he addressed Jackson's three children and thanked him for breaking racial barriers.

During his emotional speech, Sharpton credited Michael for bringing people of all races together. "It was Michael Jackson that brought blacks and whites and Asians and Latinos together. President Barack Obama has come forward to release a personal statement regarding the untimely death of Michael Jackson.

Last week, his press secretary related the President’s condolences to the Jackson family, but today Obama spoke with the Associated Press about the pop icon.

Obama told the AP, "I'm glad to see that he is being remembered primarily for the great joy that he brought to a lot of people through his extraordinary gifts as an entertainer.”
