Mel C Gives Birth to a Baby Girl

Congratulations to Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, who just gave birth to a baby girl!

Mel welcomed daughter Scarlett Starr late yesterday afternoon in London.

Scarlett came in at 8 lbs., 3 oz. Mel is thrilled, and has written on her website that the baby is “beautiful” and “doing fine.”

This is the first child for Melanie, 35, and her boyfriend of six years, Thomas Starr.
