Drama at the MTV Europe Awards

Last night the MTV Europe Music Awards took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. Justin Timberlake took on the stage to host the event, perform his latest hits and snatch most of the awards. The singer beat rapper Kanye West and Robbie Williams taking home the awards for Best Male and Best Pop Artist. We hear Justin was humorous and did a great job hosting the event.

Speaking of Kanye West, he gets the Hollyscoop Sore Loser Award for being such a little kid. The rap star went on a tirade when he lost the Best Video award to Justice vs. Simian's. Kanye jumped on stage and made the following statement to the audience which included Nelly Furtado, Daniel Craig, P. Diddy, Rhianna, Adrien Brody and many more.

"[My video] cost a million dollars. Pamela Anderson was in it. I was jumping across canyons and shit." When his video didn’t win, Kanye argued, "the award show loses credibility. Nothing against you, but hell, man." Kanye wouldn’t shut up and admitted to reporters, "I haven't seen [the Justice vs. Simian video]. Possibly it could have been quite good, but no way better than 'Touch the Sky'. That is complete bullshit. I paid a million. Obviously it's not all about the money, but the response it got transcended everything, it really made great TV. It took a month to film; I stood on a mountain; I flew a helicopter over Vegas. I did it to be the king of all videos and I wanted to walk home with that award. "

Kanye went on to say "spread the love bullshit, 'Oh everyone should have an award'. Please, press people, print 'Kanye says f**K that! " Sounds like Kanye is taking on his role as a “gold digger”.

Other wins included Christina Aguilera for Best Female, UK rock group Muse won Best Alternative, Depeche Mode won Best Group, The Killers won Best Rock; The Kooks were named Best UK & Ireland act and Gnarls Barkley’s Danger Mouse picked up Best Song for Crazy.
