2012 CMT Music Awards Winners
“I listen to all music EXCEPT Country,” a popular idiom said by most people except for everyone celebrating at the 2012 CMT Music Awards last night!

The show opens with an incredible mash-up performance of Lady Antebellum’s “We Owned the Night” with pop group Hot Chelle Rae’s song “Tonight Tonight.”

Cross genre collaborations were apparently the theme of the night as iconic band Journey closed out the show with Rascal Flatts on their hit “Don’t Stop Believin.”

Other memorable moments came when Willie Nelson made a rare appearance to play his new ode-to-marijuana song, “Roll Me Up.”

Other lol-worthy moments in the show include show hosts Toby Keith and actress Kristen Bell marching in a life size replica of a red solo cup, in honor of Keith’s song of the same name.

But the biggest winner of the night was Carrie Underwood, who took home her third video of the year award last night, proving that “American Idol” alum have all the luck.
