Best Director Award went to Martin Scorsese finally! I'm so excited he won, it was so long overdue! The Oscar for the best movie even went to 'The Departed'

Best Actress award went to British actress Helen Mirren

Best Actor went to Forest Whitaker, although Forest did an amazing job in the film, I'm kinda sad because I was really rooting for Leo.

I am sick of seeing Forest winning. What happened to the surprises?! Leo deserved to win for Blood Diamond. It was his best performance... ever! I never knew an actor could be as great as he is in that film. Thank god The Departed and Martin Scorsese won (finally)! Both truly deserved it. I am so happy for The Departed winning 4 awards. It is an amazing movie. Makr or Djimon should have won also for Best Suppoerting Actor. Overall..not such a bad show. Ellen was great. She should do it every year.
