Avril Lavigne Is a Hypocrite

Avril Lavigne needs to either shut her mouth or stop being such a hypocrite. Avril has blasted young Hollywood stars for their "embarrassing" obsession with the paparazzi.

"I think a lot of the Hollywood girls, I won't get into names, are obsessed with the paparazzi," Avril explained. "They call them or go to the Ivy [restaurant] so they'll be seen and followed for the rest of the day.

"I won't go shopping on Robertson Boulevard in LA, because it's so cheesy. I would feel lame. It's embarrassing."

The photo above was taken less than two weeks ago when Avril went shopping on Robertson Boulevard.

Before we pronounce her guilty of hypocrisy, a couple of questions have to be answered: 1. When did she make the statement about not shopping on Robertson Blvd.? 2. Is it reasonable to think she meant she would NEVER shop there? It strikes me as silly to expect that someone who lives in L.A. would simply never visit a particular part of the city.

Actually there is perfectly good explanation for this: Well it is true that Avril said she would not go shopping on Robertson Boulevard in LA. HOWEVER, Avril had to shop on Robertson Boulevard because she was invited to a baby shower, and the people who invited her to the baby shower had a gift registry at 'Petit Tresor' which has a gift registry for babies, you can check out the baby registry 'Petit Tresor' if you go to their website. “At Petit Tresor we have an extensive registry and are commited to providing you with personalized service and attention. Services provided: Baby Registry” So does this really make Avril a Hypocrite? I don't think so.

I can't believe people actually dig this low for an article. Have they no respect anymore? I don't want to know every fault of someone I'd look up to. I'd much rather hear gossip that'd make me proud of these talented people. Some do it for the attention and others do it because they have it in them. It's to us to know which is which.

This was actually staged, for a new show on E! called Pop Fiction...They went to Robertson Blvd with a fake baby bump on just to prove how rumors start

Lol ok maybe this isnt an example of hypocrisy but how about this, Avril always hated the goody goody kinds of girls (like for example Hillary Duff and Britt) and said how they were pathetic and shit, now guess whos on the cover of maxim? dresses just like hillary and acts just like britt? Avril of course. Now comming with her own clothing line and perfume? Can you say SELL-OUT? When your albums don't sell you can always turn to franchise cant you? lol... avril = shit now. Fuck her.
