Avril Lavigne and her sk8r boy.
The singer has officially filed for divorce from her husband
Deryck Whibley. According to
TMZ, Avril is citing the old Hollywod favorite--"irreconcilable differences"--as the reason for the legal split.
Avril and Deryck were married for exactly three years and one month. They decided to legally separate on September 4th.
Deryck has since been spotted partying in Vegas with another woman, leading us to believe this marriage was over a long time ago.
Avril is not asking for spousal support since she makes more money than her husband. But in true Hollywood form, Avrl doesn't think she should have to pay Deryck a dime either. We'll see how this all plays out in court.
