Audrina Patridge is the latest starlet to reportedly show interest in joining the cast of
Dancing with the Stars.
According to
E!, Audrina was slated to appear on the upcoming season, but
MTV has shot her down.
Sources say, "They won't let Audrina do it. They told her it would be impossible because of scheduling conflicts."
But DWTS only shoots on Mondays and Tuesdays, which are two days
The Hills doesn’t usually shoot.
The source tells
E!, "Audrina wants to do it. Everyone around her wants her to do it. But MTV, for some reason, won't make it happen. Why wouldn't they want someone from The Hills on such a huge show?"
It would definitely give Audrina a lot more exposure, especially since she’s in talks to get her own reality spin-off show. It seems strange that
MTV wouldn’t want the extra publicity for one of their biggest stars on the network.
