Audrina Patridge's New Show is Casting Her Friends

Audrina Patridge is reportedly waving goodbye to The Hills as well! She’s off to get her own show on MTV, which is tentatively being called The Colony.

Star magazine reports that the show will begin shooting in August, and that show producers are already busy trying to cast Audrina’s new clique of friends.

A source tells the magazine, “The show is currently casting for Audrina’s new BFFs. They have chosen a girl pursuing a music career. The others will also have some sort of artsy interest.”

Audrina has apparently been really involved in choosing the people who will be her new friends.

The source says, “She wants to make sure they find people she actually wants to get to know.”

If this isn’t an indication of the show being awful, we don’t know what is! These reality shows are just getting too scripted! Don’t the producers know that’s why everyone stopped watching The Hills? Maybe if The Colony was about Audrina living in a nudist colony, people would tune in!!
