Charlie Sheen is such a class act. He’s not bitter about losing his job to someone younger, funnier and hotter than him. At all.
Just minutes after Chuck Lorre confirmed that Ashton Kutcher would replace Charlie on Two and a Half Men, Charlie tells TMZ, "Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer ... Oh wait, so am I!!"
Charlie continues, taking a shot at the show, saying, "Enjoy the show America. Enjoy seeing a 2.0 in the demo every Monday, WB.
"Enjoy planet Chuck, Ashton. There is no air, laughter, loyalty, or love there."
So can Ashton save a show that was already sinking? Perhaps. Will the show still pull in the same ratings? Doubt it.
Two and a Half Men had already run its course on CBS. John Cryer was
pulling all the weight the last season. Charlie was barely on the show the last few episodes before he had a meltdown.
Charlie drilled a hole in the bottom of the boat and it’s only a matter of time before the entire ship sinks. Unless Ashton can pull off a miracle.
On the bright side, it sounds like Charlie is still winning. No job. No kids. No hookers. Definitely winning.
