Ashton Kutcher is so excited about his new gig on ‘Two and a Half Men’ he says he feels like he just “won the lottery.” Well at $800K an episode, he pretty did.
Ashton joined his Two and a Half Men co-stars Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones at the CBS Upfronts held at Tent at Lincoln Center on Wednesday in New York to do some press for the show.
“I’ve never, probably in my 13 years of show business, received more emails or calls congratulating me about getting a new job. I almost think I won the lottery. Which I kind of did,” Ashton said.
I just don’t see how a family guy like Ashton is going to spice up the show. Hugh Grant is just like Charlie so that would have been a fun and easy transition, but how is it going to work out with Ashton? He’s pretty much a taller version of Jon Cryer’s character Alan, with a tad bit more charm.
I’ll of course tune in for the first episode to see how he’ll be introduced, but I’m still not completely sold on Ashton taking over for Charlie. Are you?
