Demi and Ashton's Private Plane Makes Emergency Landing

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are "happy to be alive" after the private plane they were flying on had to make an emergency landing in Las Vegas on Thursday.

Shortly after the landing, Ashton wrote on his Twitter page: “My plane just had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire engines everywhere good times. happy to be alive. (sic)”

Demi also took to her Twitter page to add, “Yep it is always an adventure in Vegas emergency landing and all (sic).”

The couple was on their way to New York following the premiere of Spread in Las Vegas at the Palms Casino Resort. Their private jet’s engine overheated, causing it to make an unscheduled stop, which clearly freaked them out.

Ashton said he was so "happy to be alive" that he was willing to treat all his fans to a night out. He wrote: “lets celebrate. party tonight at Turtle Bay Bar in NYC. Say 'Spread' at the door for 1/2 off drinks! on me! (sic)”

Wow what a scary situation to be in! We're just glad the pilot was able to make an emergency landing and no one was injured.

Those tiny private jets sound nice....but did you ever wonder why all the REALLY wealthy blokes have 767 Jets or at least a vary large Gulf Stream?!?! I think the Kutchers should stick to flying commercial...and keep that CARBON FOOTPRINT small!!!
