Almost half the seasons of The Bachelor end with the Bachelor not actually proposing but just giving a rose that promises the couple will continue to date before they inevitably break up months later. During Brad Womack's first stint on The Bachelor in 2007, he rejected both finalists and didn't propose to anybody.

Between being humiliated in a roast and then being completely duped by one of the contestants, this show is almost too emotional to watch. I have an easier time sitting through those ASPCA commercials with the all the sick kittens.
Although she digged him a lot, she didn’t dig his ulterior motives, which was obviously to get his 15 minutes, which I must add is probably everyone’s ulterior motive on the show.
Hebert confronted Williams about his motives, which led him packing his bags.
Williams didn’t leave gracefully though; he managed to take a stab at the Bachelorette.
