Ashley Dupre was born Ashley Youmans on April 30, 1985 in Beachwood, New Jersey. She gained notoriety as the prostitute involved in the Eliot Spitzer scandal that led to Spitzer's resignation as governor of New York.
Ashley left home at age 17 in pursuit of a career in the entertainment
industry. Like so many before, things didn't go according to plan.
Ashley wound up working for the Emperor's Club VIP escort service as a high-priced call girl. She was given immunity in exchange for her testimony.
Ashley appeared in a Girls Gone Wild video in 2003. In an apparent money grab, she claimed she was underage at the time and filed a lawsuit against GGW founder Joe Francis but decided to drop the suit.
