It's a Girl for Ashlee Simpson?

Let the guessing games begin! A few weeks ago OK! magazine reported that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz were expecting a boy after they allegedly went on a shopping spree at Petit Tresor. And this week Star magazine is reporting that their expecting a girl, and they're ecstatic about it.

“Ashlee and Pete are on cloud nine,” an insider told Star. “The doctor told them they actually conceived the baby just before Valentine’s Day while they were on vacation and has given them an initial due date of Oct. 31.

"When Pete heard he might have his baby on Halloween, he went nuts. For an emo-rocker type like Pete, that would be just too perfect!”

The couple is staying hush hush on the details of their baby, so don't expect an actual announcement anytime soon. Basically, the only guarantee we have is that the baby is going to be born with permanent eyeliner.
