Was Ashlee Simpson feeling a bit left out that all the other “pregnant” Hollywood starlets are getting all sorts of attention?

The funniest rumor of Tuesday has got to be that Ashlee Simpson is engaged and pregnant with Pete Wentz’s child. The two reportedly got engaged at last Saturday’s New York’s Live Earth concert and are also expecting a baby!

“Ashlee wasn’t expecting it at all, it was a total surprise,” a blab said. “Pete whipped out a big engagement ring, dropped down on one knee, and asked Ashlee to be his bride. Ashlee says it was romantic, sexy — and that she said yes right away.”

Simpson’s behavior at a family wedding on 7-7-07 sparked rumors that she might in fact be pregnant.

“Ashlee may have helped start the rumors herself…She was at a family wedding and was wandering around rubbing her belly. And she refused to drink anything.”

So do you buy this story? With all these starlets "being" pregnant, I don't know what to believe anymore.

I find Ashlee Simpson to be very attractive actually, with or without the nosejob. Her choice in men is somewhat disppaointing. Pete Wentz is hardly a man at all. He wears makeup and girl genes.
