Pete Wentz just confirmed the worst kept secret of 2008--him and Ashlee Simpson are expecting their first child.
Pete announced the big news by writing on his website, "While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child.
"This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family."
You know there's steam coming out of Papa Joe's ears right now. He's probably livid that Pete just gave away valuable info like that instead of selling the story to the tabloids. Anyway, congrats to the happy couple!
