Mindy McCready is heading back to the slammer because she violated her probation. The country singer will voluntarily surrender on Tuesday and serve 60 days in a Tennessee jail.
McCready said in a statement, "I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain. I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander.”
Mindy was arrested back in June for violating her probation for prescription drug fraud. McCready has had a string of bad luck these past few years. She was arrested in 2004 for drugs, then went to jail in 2007 for violating probation and headed to rehab in July. Now, she is heading back to jail again, hopefully for the last time. Get your shit together girl!
