Despite all efforts to prove him obsolete in the entertainment and political spectrums, the actor has proven once again that he is back…
While promoting his new, revealing memoir, Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance on the CBS news show “60 Minutes.” In the interview, the actor revealed some hard to believe truths in his life.
Among the topics of discussion was his scandalous affair with housekeeper Mildred Baena and his illegitimate son, Joseph.
According to the interview, Arnold did not know that the child was actually his son until he was seven or eight years old and “started looking like me, that's when I kind of got it. I put things together."
Maybe it was the Austian accent and Hercules muscles that gave it away…
Once he found out, the actor was understandably weary about dropping the bombshell on his wife Maria Shriver and their four children.
"It was very difficult, strange, bizarre," said Schwarzenegger. "I just said to myself, 'Okay, I'm going to put this away.'”
Arnold did not reveal his secret to his wife until after leaving office. He continued his spree of secrecy by not showing Shiver the book prior to its release.
"I asked them for forgiveness," he said. "They cried. It tears your heart out."
Along with offering some insight into his side of the story, Arnold insisted that throughout the messy affair his number one priority was his marriage and his family.
His baby mama, on the other hand, he ‘s taking care of that too...“The important thing that everyone should know is that I take care of him and I take care of her [Baena],” he added. “And I fulfill my responsibility and I'm glad to do that."
