Despite being friendly following their split, it looks like the divorce is still on between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver. These two have such a good relationship, they even make divorce look good.
The couple split in May of 2011, in one of the most shocking celebrity breakup stories to come out in a while. Arnold confessed to fathering a lovechild with the couple's maid at their family home over a decade ago, and no surprise, Maria didn't want to be married anymore.
But in recent days, the two have been photographed out and about with each other. They had lunch. They rode in the same vehicle. They went to a...wait for it...furniture store together. Reports surfaced that Maria wanted to make things work because of religious reasons.
A couple of weeks ago, a source told the New York Post: "Arnold and Maria are having marriage counseling to work through their issues to get back together."
The source added: "Maria is a devout Catholic and doesn’t believe in divorce, but is still struggling with the humiliation she endured by him."
But alas, the rumors are just rumors. Arnold dismissed them on 'Extra,' saying: "We work together even though we're going through a divorce. Luckily, Maria has been a terrific mother."
An insider also confirmed Arnold's comment, telling Us Weekly that Schwarzenegger and Shriver 'are not reconciling and not in counseling.'
The source added: 'They will continue to be seen together because of their family.'
Arnold has a few film projects in the works. The Expendables 2 is set to be released later this year, and he also stars in Last Stand, set to be released in 2013.
