The former couple put their sprawling estate on the market back in January and the 25-acre historic Santa Barbara-area home has failed to sell for the low, low price of $4.495 million.
I watch a lot of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” and that price is a bargain. Or as they say on the show, “it’s a buyers market.” #ThingsILearnedFromTV
The couple paid $4.7 million for the home back in 2008.
At first, Maria reportedly wanted to move into the home after the split, but instead she moved down the street from Arnold in their Los Angeles neighborhood of Brentwood.
However, Maria decided that the Carpinteria ranch home had a “bad energy” and she needed to sell it.
“She thinks the land has bad energy,” a source close to the family told RadarOnline, “Maria’s a very spiritual person and she doesn’t want any negativity in her life, especially after everything she went through, so she just wants it gone from her life.”
Maria wants to move on with her life, but unfortunately this negative energy home won’t seem to sell. Maybe there’s voodoo involved.
The place seems lovely. The property is part of a planned urban development on a ranch that stretches from the south near Foothill Road to the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains.
Back in the day, this housing tract was home to Clark Gable, John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart.
