Arnold Schwarzenegger is a 64 year old man who just got done shooting two big action movies and is now gearing up to shoot a third. So this picture of him in the hospital shouldn’t be much of a surprise.
What is slightly surprising, however, is his hospital roommate—Sylvester Stallone. What are the odds?
Arnold posted a photo of himself shirtless in a hospital bed nursing his shoulder. Next to him is the legendary ‘Rocky’ star.
“After all the action, stunts & physical abuse shooting ‘The Expendables 2’ and ‘The Last Stand’, it was time for a little tune up on my shoulder,” Arnold said.
“Look who was coincidentally waiting in line behind me for his shoulder surgery. Now we're ready for another round of great times and action when we shoot ‘The Tomb.’"
Summit Entertainment has officially announced that Schwarzenegger and Stallone will star opposite of each other in ‘The Tomb’, which is an action thriller. What? It ain’t a rom-com?
Schwarzenegger will play Church, an “inmate with multiple shades of gray and fights for the prisoners’ rights so that they don’t lose their humanity in their darkest days.”
Stallone, on the other hand, plays Ray Breslin, the world expert on maximum security prisons who gets framed and incarcerated in a prison of his own design.
“I am thrilled to be making ‘The Tomb’ with two film icons – Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger,” said the movie’s producer, Mark Canton. “It is the perfect pairing for this high octane thriller.”
