All it takes is one moment for a star to fall from grace.
Find out how so many stars have committed career suicide after the jump.
April 18, 2011

“I was always into very androgynous things. Guys, girls…I’m into androgyny in general,” Wood told the mag. “I’m more of like the guy… I’m the dominant one.”
But in a lot of cases, it seems like actresses mix lesbianism with their sexuality to garner publicity. Just like the straight girl at a party who makes out with another chick because she’s desperate for attention, actresses seem to do the same thing.
The public likes girl on girl action. And if you don't believe me, this must be your first time on the internet. You can be moderately talented, but just say you've kissed a girl, and you'll be performing at the Grammys in front of video of your wedding to Russell Brand.
It's easy to become a hot commodity, so how many celebs flirt with lesbianism just to get attention?
Lindsay Lohan, for example, announced in 2008 that she “might” be a lesbian. Looking back, it was obvious her and SamRo had as real a relationship as Lindsay has ever had, but back then, Lohan didn’t have much going on, career-wise. The best way to stay relevant? Make a shocking statement about how you’ve graduated from Disney films to lesbianism.
It might not directly get them more work, but a star’s sexuality can at least help them stay in the headlines. But if the public realizes the declaration is just a publicity stunt, they’ll soon find themselves in Anne Heche territory.
When Heche dated Ellen Degeneres in 1997, their relationship was front-page news. After their breakup, rumors of her using lesbianism and a relationship with Ellen to gain publicity surfaced. Anne tried to distract us with a meltdown, but it didn’t help much. Any momentum she gained in the nineties soon fizzled out.
We all know stars like to draw attention to themselves when they’ve got nothing else going on. From wearing vials of blood to shaving their heads…it’s just what celebrities do. When stars come out of the closet legitimately, it’s empowering to homosexuals and helps our society to evolve and become more accepting. But when they fake it to get attention, it’s just tacky.

While on Letterman, Heche called her ex hubby a "lazy ass" and spent most of the interview mocking him.
"He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!'" she told the audience.
Needless to say, her ex wasn't too thrilled about the jokes and so he's firing back at her now.
"After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television," Laffoon, 35, an employee with Los Angeles real estate company Hilton & Hyland, tells Us Weekly.
Clearly someone is bitter over spousal support. This is why celebrities shouldn't get married, they're all nuts!

That is the advice Anne Heche gave to everyone on David Letterman.
Anne was a guest on Letterman's show and lets just say she had a lot of things on her mind and she was not about to hold back.
Anne doesn't seem to like her ex-husband, Corey Laffoon very much called him a "lazy ass" on the show then continued to mock him.
When Letterman asked what her ex-husband does for a living she responded by saying, "He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh! I got a check from Anne! Yay!' "
Let's just say that these two did not have a pretty divorce. You can watch the funny and interesting interview below:

Anne reportedly left her husband for her Men In Trees co-star James Tupper, who is the father of her new son, Atlas. She also has a 7 year-old named Homer from her marriage to Coley.
Atlas Heche Tupper was born over the weekend and weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., the actress's rep tells People.
"They are ecstatic," the rep says of the new parents. They announced they were expecting in December 2008.
Congrats to the happy couple!

A judge finalized it today, making Anne single again. They’ve been separated for almost two years, having first signed the papers in January of 2007.
It wasn’t that much of a usual messy Hollywood divorce; they’ll get 50/50 custody of their six-year old son Homer.
But the baby on the way is all Anne’s! And her new boyfriend’ of course. Anne is expecting with her Men In Trees co-star James Tupper.
Since Anne was the one making the money in the relationship, she’ll still have to pay Laffoon $3700 a month in child support. And he also gets a lump sun of $515,000.
That should hold him over for a while! Hopefully he doesn’t blow it all on porn, because as you might recall, that was what prompted the divorce in the first place!
