Remember that time that Anne Hathaway got engaged? Well, the wedding is still on (sorry, guys), and Anne and her fiancé Adam Shulman celebrated with a fun little engagement party.
Held in a New York City bookstore back in February, Hathaway served her guests vegan food and decorated the place with her favorite flowers--ranunculus and anemones--inside bird-shaped vases.
“Everything was so fun, just like Annie,” a friend tells Us Weekly.
And there are some wedding details, too. The 29 year-old actress apparently told one friend she wants to serve cupcakes, while another friend says she’s selected a venue in upstate New York:
“But they’re keeping it a secret until right before!”
Anne and Adam dated for three years before he proposed, handing her a 6-carat, $150,000 diamond ring from Kwiat.
“We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together,” Anne said in the past.
Anne also recently likened herself to Lindsay Lohan, saying: “Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common than people think. We’ve all done things we shouldn’t. It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint.”
Suddenly her relationship with Raffaello Follieri comes to mind. He pled guilty to conning money from investors after he convinced them he had connections to the Vatican.
Anne said the drama of dating someone unstable “has its wonderful side, of course…but also it was exhausting, and sometimes it would freak me out.”
