Wow, Anne Hathaway got out just in time. The boyfriend she just dumped a few days ago, Raffaello Follieri, has been arrested!
He's scheduled to appear in a NY court this morning. He's being charged with fraud and money laundering. He's being accused of telling an investor that he was appointed as the chief financial officer of the Vatican, which made him able to buy properties owned by the Catholic Church in the U.S. for a lot cheaper than market value.
First off, who still trusts this guy? You would think these so-called "investors" would know that this guy is a douchebag by now. We've said it once, and we've said it before. There are two people you don't piss off: Oprah and Jesus! This guy is going down.
