Anne Hathaway to be Honored by Harvard
January 14, 2010 by: BRIDGET DALY

A spokesperson for the group said in a statement that Anne was chosen this year because of her body of work in films, including Brokeback Mountain, Becoming Jane and Rachel Getting Married, as well as on the stage.
"That theater aspect really hit home for us, for the Pudding, and we're so excited for her to come," he said.
The group's man of the year recipient has yet to be revealed. Anne can expect to get her own parade in Boston, as well as a ceremony on January 28th.
Last year, the honorees were Renée Zellweger and James Franco. They each received golden pudding pots – to mark a tradition that began in 1795, when Harvard members of the club pledged to bring "a pot of hasty pudding" to each meeting.
Anne is a great honoree in the long lasting tradition. Congrats!
